When we think white tee, we think errands, gym, chill out clothes. I beg to differ. I’ve dressed up white tees to the office, girls night, date night and even a wedding. Especially if a white tee is all you have that’s clean in your wardrobe…
It’s happened to me a few times. What can I say?! Chilling on the couch with popcorn and a movie is more appealing than facing Mr washing machine *giggle*. Luckily I have quite a few white tees and I’ve learned how to style them for different occasions.
Here are some styling ideas to make the most of your white tee!

To the office
Feel confident in well tailored suit, a white tee worn tucked in, Nine West heels and an elegant necklace. A beautiful scarf around your neck is also a great option.
Girls night
A white tee, a great pair of jeans, fashionable heels, clutch and black waterfall blazer.
A lovely long necklace, dainty earrings and a smokey eye and natural lip compliments this look.
To get this look summer ready, swap out the pointy heels for sandals and ditch the winter jacket for a light blazer in black, a bold colour or a print.
On a date
A white tee, black jeans, ankle boots, leather jacket, fashionable bag (fringe is in at the moment) and a pretty necklace with a pop of colour makes this look date ready. I love the femininity of the leather jacket and the necklace.
This look can go from day to night. A natural makeup look with a bright lip is perfect for day time and a smokey eye perfect for evenings out.
To make this look work in warmer weather, swap out the ankle boots for a great pair of heels and the leather jacket for a linen one.
Style note – Matching your bag to your shoes and belt is one way to wear leather. Another way is to match your leather jacket to your shoes and wear a leather bag of a different colour to compliment your jewelry. Either way is flattering.
To a wedding
Yes! You can rock a white tee to a wedding! Drama is all you need – bold bottoms, bold accessories, great shoes and great hair!
I’ve paired the white tee with a bold red skirt and heels and went all out with a jewelry set of colourful crystals from Swarovski. The necklace, bracelet and earrings add instant elegance. Not only is the jewelry stunning, but also very versatile given the mix of colours.
The pashmina encompasses the soft purples and pink in the jewelry and is great for warmth when needed, but not a must. Wear it as a shawl over your shoulders or let it drape across your back from elbow to elbow.
A simple red clutch and natural makeup with a red lip will complete the look.
